The goal of the ADAPT Equity Scholars Program is to welcome early career researchers and trainees from underrepresented groups into the Durham VA Health Services Research & Development (HSR&D) Center to Accelerate Discovery and Practice Transformation (ADAPT) in order to support their growth as post-doctoral fellows and eventually as career development awardees and independent investigators. |
Health Services Research Fellowship The HSR fellowship is a two-year mentored fellowship sponsored by VA Health Services Research & Development. We offer tracks for both MD and PhD candidates. Research focuses:

The Durham VA Quality Scholars (VAQS) Program is a two-year interdisciplinary fellowship for healthcare professionals (specifically doctorally trained physicians, nurses, psychologists, and physical therapists) that offers applied training in advanced quality improvement, implementation science, and health services research. National Clinician Scholars Program The National Clinician Scholars Program (NCSP) aims to train nurse and physician researchers to work as leaders and collaborators in communities, healthcare systems, government, foundations, and think tanks in the U.S. and abroad. The Durham VA and Duke University are both partners of this program, providing a breadth of research and clinical experience.
