WHY VA?

On a personal note, I know first-hand how beneficial VA healthcare can be to Veterans who struggle with multiple health issues. My father was a WWII Veteran and VA healthcare user. While he lived a long life, the mental and medical scars he received during his service to our country stayed with him his whole life and impacted his quality of life.  Our family benefited tremendously from the VA healthcare my father received. Every day, I am honored to work with and for our Veterans and I am committed to conducting research that benefits the lives of Veterans.
